Contributor Terms

You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian to contribute content to Freeicon.com. By submitting content, you confirm that you have the legal right and authority to grant the licenses described in these terms.

All icons and assets you submit must be your original work or work for which you hold all necessary rights. You must not submit content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party, including copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets.

You retain ownership of your original work. By submitting content to Freeicon.com, you do not transfer ownership of your intellectual property.

By submitting content, you grant Freeicon.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and make your content available to users of the platform.

This license allows Freeicon.com to offer your icons for free download by users under the platform's standard license terms. Users may use downloaded icons in personal and commercial projects as permitted by our License Agreement.

You also grant Freeicon.com the right to create derivative works (such as different sizes, colors, or format conversions) from your submitted content for the purpose of platform display and distribution.

All submitted content must comply with the following guidelines:

• Icons must be original, high-quality vector graphics (SVG format preferred).
• Content must not contain offensive, obscene, defamatory, or illegal material.
• Icons must not include copyrighted logos, trademarks, or brand identities unless you own the rights.
• Icons should follow consistent design standards (uniform stroke width, grid alignment, etc.).
• Icons must be properly named and categorized with relevant tags for discoverability.
• Submissions should include SVG source files. PNG exports may be auto-generated by the platform.

Freeicon.com reserves the right to review, approve, reject, or remove any submitted content at its sole discretion. We may reject content that does not meet our quality standards, violates these terms, or is deemed inappropriate. We are not obligated to provide reasons for rejection.

Contributors will be credited on the platform with their display name and profile page. Your author profile will be linked to all icons you contribute. Freeicon.com may display your name, profile image, and portfolio link alongside your content.

You must not submit content that:

• Promotes hate speech, violence, discrimination, or harassment.
• Contains malware, viruses, or any harmful code embedded in files.
• Copies or substantially imitates existing copyrighted icon sets or designs.
• Is misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive in nature.
• Contains adult, sexually explicit, or NSFW content.

You may request the removal of your contributed content at any time by contacting us at support@freeicon.com. We will process removal requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Please note that content already downloaded by users before removal cannot be recalled. The license granted to those users for previously downloaded content remains valid.

Freeicon.com also reserves the right to remove any content at any time without prior notice if it violates these terms or our content guidelines.

Freeicon.com may suspend or terminate your contributor access at any time if you violate these terms, submit prohibited content, or engage in activity that harms the platform or its users. Upon termination, your existing content may remain on the platform unless you request removal.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Freeicon.com, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your submitted content or your violation of these Contributor Terms.

Freeicon.com provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties regarding the availability, performance, or reach of the platform. We do not guarantee any specific number of downloads, views, or exposure for your contributed content.

Freeicon.com reserves the right to update or modify these Contributor Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued submission of content after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
